Created in May 2013 by Flavien PIERSON who has a long career of more than twenty years as Producer, independant Distributor and label manager behind him, CONTINUO Musique aims to be resolutely managed towards a close collaboration with performers
and composers via a classical and jazz catalog offering creations, adaptations and rare recordings or not so much present works as a disk focus for part of the musical catalog on the neoclassical period.
In effect at the time of the crisis of physical product and points of sales, relay always important to know the productions of independent labels discoverers, it became essential for us to work our musical projects in full collaboration with artists, from recording sessions to graphic design and until promotion of the finished product.
Actually, being obliged to assume in a way this crisis to cross her better and take partially the relay of points of sale for the emphasis of our productions, we work so quite particularly on the launch of our recordings via concerts, diverse vidéos, EPK and special event managements in France as abroad.
We like this definition which in a sense we also corresponds in part : " In baroque music, bass - also called the continuo - refers to a practice of improvisation from writing bass" !
In 2016, Flavien PIERSON, an unconditional lover of JAZZ, created the CONTINUO Jazz label. The first production released in 2017 was dedicated to violinist Line Kruse and his Big Band ... the second album to be released in September 2018 is the one of the Cuban guitarist, percussionist and singer Joël Hierrezuelo.
